Committee duties:	The Solid Waste Advisory Committee advises and makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on the methods, processes, programs and activities related to the collection, handling and disposal of solid waste within Lake County.

Member types:	(5) One representative from each of the five County Commission districts (2) Two representatives from the Lake County League of Cities
Term length:	Representatives of districts 1, 3 and 5 and one League of Cities representative will serve 4 year terms. Representatives of districts 2 and 4 and the other League of Cities representative will serve initial 2 year terms; 4 year terms thereafter.
