Board duties: The Substance Abuse Policy Advisory Board serves as the primary body for coordination of drug abuse efforts undertaken with funds provided by the Florida Department of Community Affairs pursuant to the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988.

Member Types: All members must be registered electors and residents of Lake County
(1) Chief Circuit Judge of Fifth Judicial District, or designee
(1) State Attorney of Fifth Judicial Circuit, or designee
(1) Public Defender of Fifth Judicial Circuit, or designee
(1) Lake County Sheriff, or designee
(1) Lake County Jail Director, or designee
(1) Lake County Clerk of the Court, or designee
(1) Lake County Superintendent of Schools, or designee
(1) Lake County drug treatment program representative
(12) Chief of police from each Lake County municipality
