Artist's Statement: My abstract paintings are Gestural, oversized calligraphic brush markings and large scale in nature. In addition to working on canvas, creative pursuits include painting on metal panels for outside environments using oxidation techniques; collaborating with artist design teams for public art commissions; sculpture making and currently – silk textiles! Specializing in site-specific commissions for interior and exterior environments, my works can be seen in a growing number of private, corporate and public art collections from Vancouver, B.C. to Luxembourg, Europe. Studio visits welcomed and are available by appointment.
