Application Review, Approval, and Funding
  1. Board of County Commissioners (BCC) establishes criteria for the Impact Fee Deferral (IFD) Program.
  2. Board of County Commissioners adopt IFD guidelines.
  3. Industrial Development Authority (IDA) of Lake County produces collateral material promoting the IFD fund and application forms.
  4. Impact Fee Deferral Applications are submitted to the Economic Development Director for expedient processing and transmittal to the IDA.
  5. The IDA will expediently evaluate the application and prepare a recommendation for the Board of County Commissioners.
  6. Impact Fee Deferral award agreements are presented to the Board of County Commissioners for approval and execution.
