Environmental Horticulture provides educational services to:
Area residents;
Land maintenance operations; and
Garden center/retail nurseries.
Programs, advice and good management practices are offered for:
Lawns;
Landscape material;
Indoor plants;
Vegetable gardening;
Pest control;
Fertilizers;
Irrigation; and
Soil management
Trained Master Gardeners staff a Plant Clinic on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They diagnose plant problems and give home horticulture assistance. Soil pH testing service is also provided at the Extension office.
