Operation
Lake County Connection operates from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through contracted operators, if prior arrangements are made.
Lake County Connection does transport out of the County, but only for authorized medical purposes. Trips to Orlando are on Tuesday and Thursday. Trips to Gainesville are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Return trips from both destinations leave when all passengers are finished with their appointments, but must leave no later than 2 p.m.
There is a qualification application process for all new customers. To begin the application process, contact Lake County Connection (352-326-2278, [Florida Relay voice: (800) 955-5770; TTY: (800) 955-8771]) as soon as possible as the process can take up to two weeks to complete.
