Greetings, Humans at Lake County Animal Shelter. I came to my furever home last Wednesday. It is very nice here. I have a big house to roam in with two screened-in rooms so I can watch the birds outside. I have much good food to eat and daily fresh water to drink. The two humans that live here give me much adoration and attention. My toilet is cleaned everyday and I don't have to share with anyone. I have my choice of which warm place I like to sleep in. Life is good.

Adoption fees are based on the cost of sterilization, rabies vaccination, County tag, regular vaccinations and testing. The sterilization fees vary depending upon gender and size of the animal.

Please contact our shelter for current prices on adoptions. We have a wide variety of animals coming to our shelter and adoption prices vary depending on the species.

Donations

The Shelter is always in need of donated items such as blankets, towels, newspapers, food, litter, etc. Many of these items are used to help keep the shelter clean but also provide more comfortable conditions for the animals while under our care.
