Classroom Presentations

The S.K. Worm Show!

Cindy Strickland, Resource Conservationist, developed an outreach program to educate kindergarteners through sixth graders about soil and water conservation through a fun, educational display, handouts, and thought-provoking questions.

Cindy has a gift for making the children realize that they can make a difference by practicing conservation every day and playing an active role in protecting the community’s valuable resources.

Since the program started in January 2005, Cindy has presented to more than 50,000 students. She has received hundreds of thank-you letters from teachers and students.

For more information about the program or to schedule a presentation, e-mail Cindy Strickland at cindy.strickland@fl.nacdnet.net.
