Cindy Hall joined Lake County as Assistant County Manager in May 2003, and was appointed County Manager in June 2005. As County Manager, she reports to a five-member Board of County Commissioners and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all Lake County administrative departments. The Board of County Commissioners and County Manager work closely together to ensure that Lake County citizens receive high quality government services related to transportation, public safety, and environmental and social services, as well as to economic opportunities for the county.
Ms. Hall has more than 19 years experience in the field of budget, legislative, revenue and statistical analysis, debt issuance, and special district management. She is a frequent speaker for these topics at state and local finance seminars and conferences as well as a published author in revenue analysis techniques. Her employment history includes several local governments in the Central Florida area, and includes 8 years as Fiscal Services Director for Seminole County.
Ms. Hall holds a bachelor’s degree in language from Denison University in Ohio and a master’s degree in Applied Economics from University of Central Florida. She is an experienced instructor having taught English as a second language for several years and economics and public administration at the graduate and undergraduate levels. She now devotes her free time to her grown children and their families as well as home projects. |
