Lake County is uniquely situated in the center of Florida with an excellent transportation access system. The Florida Turnpike provides convenient access to anywhere in Florida and beyond with two existing interchanges located in Lake County. The Orlando Beltway is also located in close proximity to Lake County. Orlando International Airport is easily and quickly accessible via these transportation road networks.

Locally, the City of Leesburg owns Leesburg Regional Airport located on U.S. 441. This rapidly expanding airport is centrally located within the County and has full service fueling services.

Located adjacent to the Leesburg Regional Airport is the main campus of Lake-Sumter Community College, one of the top ranked community colleges in Florida. The college is home to the Business Resource Center that offers a variety of services to new and existing businesses. Lake-Sumter Community College also has a branch in Clermont in south Lake County.

Lake County's unique geography and the small town charm of the 14 municipalities offer an outstanding quality of life. The County's central location along with a well-planned infrastructure system offers a multitude of opportunities for business expansion and location.
