TThe STAR Team is extremely pleased to announce that the Board of County Commissioners has selected Amy Bradford, Administrative Office Associate IV, Community Services, Public Transportation for the annual Community Service Award.

The Community Service Award is designed to recognize the outstanding effort and “good works” of our employees, which enhance the Lake County Community. Amy has gone above and beyond to provide excellence in service to the community. Amy is a committed, dedicated, and a loyal employee with a winning attitude. She listens patiently and professionally to the customer and then works diligently to get the problems resolved. Upon the Directors absence Amy was able to complete two grant applications. One will result in over $400,000 for the Public Transportation Program, while the other one may result in a new bus being added to the fleet. Amy also assisted with the preparation of the mock DUI crashes for area schools. The mock crashes are designed to educate the students on the dangers of drinking and driving. Amy loves her job and exemplifies customer service at its very best. She does an outstanding job being an ambassador of good will for the county.
