Minimum Qualifications:

Job Summary:

High School Diploma or GED and vocational/technical education in traffic signal systems field with five years experience or training that includes electronics diagnostics/repair and electronic systems design or any equivalent combination of related education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential job functions. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience is required. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Class "E" driver's license. IMSA Level 3 required or ability to obtain within six months.

Job Summary:
Supervises the technical work in the construction , installation, maintenance, modification and repair of traffic signal systems and traffic control devices. Schedule and assign work, review paperwork and field work. Maintain signal records and database. Work in the field maintaining and repairing traffic signals. Train traffic signal personnel for proper traffic signal maintenance and repair procedures. Order and maintain inventory of signal parts. Inspect traffic signal construction and repairs.
