Performs both manual and clerical tasks for the Animal control Division including answering incoming calls, providing work orders to Officers, receiving and processing animals, cleaning and maintaining work areas, coordinating adoptions and reclaims, feeding animals, etc.
High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year experience in kennel or animal control, or any equivalent combination of related education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential job functions. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Class "E" Driver’s License.
