ANIMAL EUTHANASIA TECHNICIAN
Responsible for the proper euthanasia and disposal of animals in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and statutes. Perform other technical and clerical duties in support of the daily operations of the Animal Control Division. Responsible for maintaining daily shelter operations, caring for impounded animals and providing assistance to field officers.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED with vocational/technical training in proper euthanasia methods and two (2) years of experience in animal control field; or any equivalent combination of related education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job. Must possess or be able to obtain Euthanasia Technician certification to perform euthanasia. Must possess and maintain valid state of Florida class ”E” driver’s license.
