Friendly Training Reminders:

  • Registration is required to attend any of these and other programs offered through the Office of Employee Services & Quality Improvement.
  • Be on time and allow plenty of time for parking. Classes will start promptly at the scheduled time.
  • Once registered for a program, commit to the date and time. Due to limited space, once an employee is scheduled for a program they need to make sure to keep that date and time available for attendance.
  • Cancellations should be on an emergency basis only and the employee or supervisor should notify Employee Services as soon as possible, that way the space could potentially be filled. Substitutions are permitted; however if possible please notify Employee Services prior to doing so.
  • No-shows - If an employee is registered for a program and does not attend, the employee’s supervisor will be informed.
  • Limit 3 employees per division/section. In order to ensure diversity in each session, a maximum of 3 employees from a division/section will be permitted to attend each training session. (Supervisors, please keep this in mind when enrolling employees.)
  • Professional and courteous demeanor is expected during all training programs. Remember that you are a representative of your department while attending a program, regardless if it is an in-house training program or outside of the County.
  • Programs listed in this calendar are reserved for employees of Lake County BCC only. Employees of other Lake County government entities interested in the content, please contact Employee Services at 343-9596 for more information.
