The Facilities Management Division provides services related to the maintenance and energy management of completed facilities. This Division is charged with the overall management of all County-owned and occupied facilities. Functions include maintaining and operating the facilities in a safe and efficient manner. The Division is divided into four groups according to function:
Energy Management
The Energy Management Group is responsible for operating and maintaining all building systems at the optimum level of efficiency for energy consumption, client comfort, and Indoor Air Quality. This includes the coordination and supervision of consultants and contractors.
Facilities Maintenance
The Facilities Maintenance Group oversees general and preventive maintenance, including the coordination and direction of contractors and consultants hired to perform work.
Jail and Sheriff Facilities Maintenance
The Jail and Sheriff Facilities Maintenance Group is charged with maintaining the Lake County Detention Center and all of the Lake County Sheriff’s Department facilities, including the coordination and supervision of consultants and contractors.
