Welcome to Lake County's E-Permitting online service. It offers you an easy way to apply and pay for permits with the touch of a button.
If you have never applied for a single-family permit, you can review the online guide to obtaining a single-family dwelling unit permit. This guide has step-by-step information and forms that will be helpful to you.
Once your application is received, an Associate Planner will be notified. The Associate Planner will start the process for a zoning clearance and will forward the permitting information to the Department of Health and the Building Division for their review and permitting. If additional information is needed, you will be contacted.
Please Note: Currently, you can apply and pay for all types of residential permits and some small commercial permits. Please call (352) 343-9641 or email zoning@lakecountyfl.gov, if you have any questions.
This application does not guarantee that a permit will be issued. You may not start work until the application has been processed, payment has been made and the permit is issued. Starting work prior to the issuance of the permit will result in penalties and fees.
After you complete the first part of the application, you will receive an email. Click on the upload documents tab to see a list of all documents, forms, plans, etc. that will you will need to upload to complete your application.
