We will continue to coordinate with you on the meeting. As to the Pilot Communities for the Public School Facilities Element, the Department is working with other agencies on selecting Pilot communities. We have received the e-mails and information from the County and are considering that along with the data and characteristics of other communities throughout the state. We want to be able to provide a broad spectrum of examples that the remaining communities will be able to use as models and draw from. I have spoken with Valerie and Mike and they are appreciative of Lake County's interest in the program and wanting to be out front on this issue. We are hopeful that a decision on the Pilot Communities will be made soon (perhaps before August 24 or 25th). The Department will be prepared to meet with you and other representatives from the County to discuss the update to the comprehensive plan but at this time we do not think there will be any necessity for going into any significant discussion on the Public School Facilities Element Pilot program at that time.
