Through a series of seven public meetings with different communities in Lake County during August 2005, facilitators of the comprehensive plan asked for the public’s input on the initial draft policies of the Lake County 2030 Comprehensive Plan.
During the second round of public meetings, staff reviewed results from the first public participation tour and online survey, before outlining proposed policies of the draft plan. Residents were then encouraged to ask questions about the policies.
A short survey was given to each participant so they could submit comments about the comprehensive plan process. The results of those surveys are available for the public to review. The comments ranged from “need to work with the cities” to “I endorse positive change.”
