Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, safety/health management, or a closely related field with two (2) years of related experience.
Requires a valid Florida Driver's License.
ANTICIPATED STARTING SALARY IS $40,684.80 PER YEAR.
Performs professional level work in the development, administration and/or promotion of one or more initiative of the County’s Risk and Benefits program that include property, liability, workers compensation, safety, FMLA and employee benefits. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, implementation of risk and benefit related programs, coordination and investigation of liability claims, trend analysis, customer service, and coordination of Safety Action Team, data collection and reporting, policy and procedure development and training when appropriate.
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES WITH EXPERIENCE AS A CLAIMS ADJUSTER.
