Alan has shown excellent customer service and dedication to the residents of the south side of Umatilla. In August 2010 the Public Works Engineering Division was given the responsibility of managing the water supply system for that community to ensure that the residents receive potable water. The water supply system is over 50 years old with pipes running through yards and between streets. Alan has efficiently responded to citizens regarding flooded homes, yard breaks, water main breaks and concerns over poor water quality.
