The divisions within the Department of Information Technology include:

Administrative Services
The Division handles budgeting, bill paying, staffing, training, planning, contract management, asset management and other day-to-day operations within the Department. Contact this Division at (352) 742-6550 Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Information Systems
The Division is responsible for maintaining the County network backbone and servers along with providing desktop support to more than 700 desktops and laptops throughout the County. Geographic Information Services

Programming and Application Support Services (PASS)
This Division enables process redesign and automation through the use of technology. They are also responsible for maintaining installed applications and databases throughout the County and promoting the DataOne initiative. Records Management
This Division stores, references, retains and retrieves public documents generated by most County departments. Citizens make their request to the appropriate Lake County department and Records Management handles the requests from the departments. Telecommunications
This Division maintains the phone system for all of the constitutional offices of Lake County; this includes the Board of County Commissioners, Clerk of Courts, Property Appraiser, Sheriff, Supervisor of Elections and Tax Collector.
