General Information

Pine Forest Park features a multi-use field for football or soccer games, a basketball court and two pavilions with grills. Next to the pavilions is the playground for families with newly installed restrooms. The 28-acre Florida Scrub-Jay Management Area is one of the most biologically diverse plant ecosystems in the County's park system. The 2-mile hiking trail loops through the restoration area and ponds gives visitors a unique view of the numerous native plants, insects, amphibians, reptiles, mammals and birds that make use of this park. Park species highlights include River Otter, Soft-Shelled Turtle, Zebra Swallowtail Butterfly and Loggerhead Shrike.
