The Communications Systems Division operates and maintains the Lake County Enhanced Emergency 9-1-1 system database and emergency telephone calling abilities, performs the assigning of street addresses to new properties in Lake County and oversees cable television franchise contracts. In addition, the Division provides technical support for Public Safety Answering Points within the County and ensures the accuracy of the Communications Services Tax database among the municipalities, cable companies and Lake County.
