The Lake County Fire Rescue Division's Administration Office is responsible for the day-to-day activities that support the Division. These responsibilities include budget preparation and control, capital purchases, career development training, communications support, public education, logistics, personnel equipment allotment, and facilities maintenance.

Communications
Administration provides support for the agency’s telecommunications systems. This coordination includes liaison duty with emergency dispatch services from Lake Emergency Medical Services.

Training Section (Professional Fire/EMS Career Development)
The Training Section falls under the direction of the Assistant Chief – Administration who oversees all Fire/EMS and career development activities, including promotional examinations. The Training Section schedules and coordinates all Fire/EMS training activities, drills, scenario exercises, recruit indoctrination and training, compliance with State and local law, medical inventory and supplies, the quality improvement process, and serves as the liaison between the Department and the County Medical Director.

Public Fire Safety Education (Community Outreach)
For public education such as CPR , first aid, fire prevention classes, and fire extinguisher training demostrations, please refer to the Public Education (Community Outreach) page.

Logistics
Administration provides logistical support for personnel through the purchase of uniforms, equipment, and fire station supplies.Supply responsibilities include procurement, warehousing, inventory and control, and product delivery to end-users.

Inventory Control
Administration provides oversight and support for the proper accountability of all public assests assigned to the Fire Rescue Division.

Facility Maintenance
The Fire Rescue Administration provides program oversight, support, and facilitation of essential maintenance schedules and tasks of all Fire Rescue facilities.
