The Solid Waste Division consists of solid waste operations and commercial and residential hazardous waste collection and recycling.

Solid Waste Operations is pro-active in managing the waste generated in Lake County. From curbside waste disposal, to providing six drop-off facilities, the Lake County "WasteStream" is designed for ease of residential service to protection of the environment.

Hazardous Waste & E-Cycling section works with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in recycling and all other waste management issues such as hazardous waste disposal. It is a divsion goal to provide residents with the best customer service possible, while preserving the unique environment of Lake County.
