The residential curbside garbage-collection service in unincorporated Lake County is changing effective Monday, October 6, 2014. The new service will offer residents a 1-1-1 curbside collection program, which consists of once-per-week trash, one-per-week recycling and once-per-week yard waste collection service. The new program also will provide homeowners with two carts; one 95-gallon cart for trash and one 65-gallon cart for recycling at no additional cost. Maintenance of the cart is also included at no cost.
For more information about the new curbside collection service, contact the Lake County Solid Waste Division by phone at 352-343-9400, or by email at email@example.com.
