This course was cut out of a mature pine forest, but it still features open fairways. The par 3's are considered by locals as being the most difficult aspect of the course. About half of the greens are elevated, and all of them are well bunkered. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes. The signature hole is #16, a 442-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg fairway, then an approach shot over a creek to the green.
