    This resort has two outstanding 18-hole regulation courses, rated four stars by "Golf Digest" magazine. The El Campeon course, a traditional-style design, has many elevation changes that will challenge the most advanced of golfers. The greens are small, and the fairways are narrow. In addition, water hazards come into play on almost every hole. The Las Colinas course features a links-style design with open fairways, but water hazards come into play on at least eight holes. Both courses will be included in the 2008-2009 edition of Best Places to Play by "Golf Digest." The resort is also home to the Mission Inn Golf Academy, Bird Golf Academy and Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy.

    This course is always in good condition. It was built on rolling hills around a very large lake. This lake, plus many ponds, come into play on seven holes, including two that have island greens.
