    The recreation area is nestled in an oak hammock near the community of Paisley. The recreational area is in the Ocala National Forest and includes a 32-acre lake, access to hiking and biking trails and 42 campsites.

    This Lake County Water Authority preserve includes 2,300 acres with two wooded islands and a 4-mile Daubenmire Trail, consisting of an access trail, 3-mile loop and two cross trails.

    The 318-acre park is divided into two areas. The front 50 acres is being developed into an active recreation area. The remaining acres offer a Florida Scrub-jay restoration area, nature center and access to hiking and nature trails.

    Pine Forest Park offers a multi-use field and two pavilions with grills next to the playground for families. The 28-acre Florida Scrub-Jay Management Area offers the most biologically diverse plant ecosystem in the County's park system.
