    Astor Lions Park offers active recreation for everyone from the ball player to the tennis player. The pavilion and playground offer families a place to enjoy a picnic or day in the park. The regularly scheduled soccer, baseball and softball games by local teams offer an enjoyable way to pass a few hours.

    The recreation area is nestled in an oak hammock near the community of Paisley. The recreational area is in the Ocala National Forest and includes a 32-acre lake, access to hiking and biking trails and 42 campsites.

    Waterfront Park is conveniently located along Lake Minneola, nestled between East Avenue and Eighth Street.  Passing through the park is a paved trail used by walkers, bikers and rollerbladers.

    Located on the shores of Lake Eustis, the park and the band shell were placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. Intended as a memorial park, it has many monuments located throughout the grounds.

    Lake Jem Park offers visitors the opportunity to launch a boat, canoe or kayak into the Beauclair Canal, hike the 1/2-mile nature trail with boardwalk, fish from the banks of the canal or have a family picnic while the children enjoy the playground shaded by huge Live Oaks.
