International Energy Conservation Code (2009) Fundamentals Seminar
Wednesday, June 27th - 8:00am to 3:30pm
There is no cost for the seminar. Attendees must have a 2009 IECC Fundamentals book with them at the seminar. If you wish to purchase a book the cost is $40.00 payable at time of registration. Books will not be sold at the seminar. Seminar registration ends June 08, 2012.
This seminar, presented by the International Code Council, provides an overview of critical concepts of the 2009 Interna-tional Energy Conservation Code.

HVAC Open Entry Class
Open until May 17, 2012
This is an introductory class designed to teach the basics of HVAC/R operations, installations, and troubleshooting. This is a 30 hour that meets Monday and Thursday from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
No experience necessary. Tuition is $740, plus books and fees. Scholarshops are available.

Solar Thermal Class
April 17, 2012 – May 16, 2012
This is an introductory class designed to familiarize students with solar water heating
systems.
You will learn the basics of residential solar system design, installation,
troubleshooting, and operation procedures for residential
water and pool heating. This is a 30 hour that meets Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
No experience necessary. Tuition is $210, plus books and fees. Partial scholarshops are available.

New energy saving education program to be offered by LSCC to Lake County residents
Lake-Sumter Community College (LSCC), in partnership with Lake County under the County's Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) project, is offering a Community-Based Outreach Program for Lake County homeowners. This outreach project features an educational session for residents and homeowners, and is designed for presentation to homeowner associations, neighborhood groups, and other civic organizations as a means to promote actions property owners can take to reduce energy consumption and promote energy sustainability directly within their own homes.
