TAVARES — The Lake County Library System announces the opening of the Cooper Memorial Library, at its new location, 821 W. Minneola Ave. The newly renovated facility, formerly Hughes Supply, is conveniently located on the corner of Minneola and 8th Street in downtown Clermont.
The public is invited to attend the opening reception, Monday, March 7 at 2 p.m. The ceremony will include guest speakers and dignitaries. Library staff will be available to offer tours of the new library. Refreshments will be served.
The Cooper Memorial Library will be open to the public six days a week with regular hours. DVDs, videos, music CDs, books on CD, books on tape, computer software and games will be available along with an excellent collection of books and reference materials. A full range of programs will be offered in the near future for children and adults. The staff is dedicated to bringing the finest library services to the community.
