The Lake County Economic Development & Tourism Division is accepting applications for the Tourist Development Capital Projects Funding Program. Funded through the Lake County Tourism Tax, the purpose of the program is to allow local organizations to apply for funds for capital infrastructure that will enhance Lake County as a tourist destination.

The Lake County Emergency Management Division is inviting the public to Severe Weather Awareness Day, a community outreach event seeking to promote preparedness for all types of weather emergencies. Lake County government offices to close for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
All offices of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners, Clerk of Courts, Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections and Tax Collector will be closed Monday, Jan. 16 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Offices will reopen with regularly scheduled hours on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
