TAVARES — The Lake County Library System will hold a Focus Group Meeting concerning the new Cooper Memorial Library. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting to provide input on the long range plans for the new building. It will be held on Monday, February 7th at 6:00 p.m. at Clermont City Hall; 685 W. Montrose St.

Ward Friszolowski and Phil Trezza, architects for Harvard Jolly will facilitate the meeting, and will address questions such as increased and expanded library collections, services and programs. The location of the library and specific needs of the community will also be discussed. Public input is very important to this discussion.

Library staff will present an update on the interim location and the schedule for opening. Please attend this important meeting. It is important for us to hear the voice of the South Lake community to be sure that Clermont area residents’ needs are addressed. Be concerned, get involved.
