TAVARES — Local elected officials and citizens will get their chance to meet with the Lake County Legislative Delegation after all, said County Commissioner Debbie Stivender, chair of the Lake County Days Committee.
The previously cancelled Lake County Day has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 31, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Mary Brogran Art and Science Museum, 350 S. Duval St., Tallahassee, with a wine and cheese reception.
The annual event provides the opportunity for County officials and other community leaders to reiterate to state senators and representatives representing Lake County what they view as key issues in the upcoming legislative session.
The public is invited to participate in this exciting event at the state’s Capitol. For more information or to make reservations, call Wendy Taylor at (352) 343-9849 or e-mail wtaylor@co.lake.fl.us. All reservations are due by March 16.
