LEESBURG — Lake County park rangers will lead a “Signs of Fall” hike on Thursday, Sept. 17, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at PEAR Park, located at 5336 University Ave., Leesburg.
“We’ll be looking for migrating birds and butterflies, but won’t pass up the opportunity to just enjoy the 318-acre park’s other inhabitants,” said Gallus Quigley, Lake County Park Ranger.
The 2-mile hike will be over uneven and unimproved trails. Participants are encouraged to bring water, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat and hiking shoes. Reservations are required.
