TAVARES – Lake County Extension is inviting residents to attend an educational program entitled “Small Fruit for the Home Landscape,” on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Lake County Agricultural Center, located at 1951 Woodlea Road in Tavares.
Participants will have an opportunity to learn valuable information on how to select and care for small fruit, that fit well into the home landscape. The program will be presented by Charles Fedunak, Environmental Horticulturist with the University of Florida.
Pre-registration is required by Thursday, March 15, as space is limited. The fee for the class is $5 at the door or $6.27 ($5 for the class, plus $1.27 credit card processing fee) if you pay online.
