TAVARES – The Lake County Parks & Trails Division will hold a Native Plants Sale on Saturday, April 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Palatlakaha Environmental and Agricultural Reserve (PEAR Park) Nature Center, located at 4800 University Ave. in Leesburg.
The proceeds from this event will go towards the PEAR Association's volunteer restoration efforts for Florida Scrub-jay, Eastern Meadowlark and Northern Bobwhite (Quail) at the park. Volunteers and vendors will have a wide variety of native plants available to purchase. Patrons will also be able to explore the park's volunteer-maintained xeric and demonstration gardens.
