TAVARES – The Lake County Board of County Commissioners recently launched a new and improved economic development website to help support the County’s economic development and business efforts.

The new website includes an enhanced user interface, an advanced property finder and a number of upgraded features that improve functionality and responsiveness. Additionally, users can find information about the County’s recently-opened Business Opportunities Centers and an abundance of detailed demographics and statistical data. The website also includes an assortment of informational maps, all of which can be vital tools for existing businesses in Lake County and those looking start or relocate to Lake County.

“We are extremely excited about the launch of our new economic development website,” said Scott Blankenship, Director of Lake County’s Office of Economic Development & Tourism. “The website is robust, interactive, user-friendly and informative, which exemplifies our mission to provide better service to our business community."
