TAVARES – The Lake County Extension is inviting residents to take part in three upcoming webinars to help individuals learn the principles of proper nutrition and financial security.

• “Shopping in the Digital Marketplace” is scheduled for Thursday, July 26 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. This webinar will take an in-depth look at the steps people can take to help avoid fraud when shopping online. Those interested in participating can register at bit.ly/digimar.

• A webinar entitled “Florida Seafood: Simply Delicious” is set for Wednesday, Aug. 8 from 12:10 to 1:50 p.m. It aims to help participants learn the health benefits associated with incorporating seafood into their diet. Participants will also learn ways to safely handle and prepare seafood, as well as recipes that are simple and tasty. To register, visit bit.ly/HmHUjE. 

• On Thursday, Aug. 9, “The 4 Don'ts of Talking About Money” will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. This webinar will cover various ways for residents to effectively communicate with their partner about finances, and the steps that can be taken to achieve financial compatibility and security within a relationship.
