PAISLEY – The Lake County Parks & Trails Division is inviting residents to participate in a hike through the Ellis Acres Reserve, located at 25302 County Road 42 in Paisley. The hike is set for Saturday, Aug. 4 from 8 to 10 a.m.
On this tour, residents will get a first-hand look at the County’s efforts to restore the reserve’s ecosystem to its natural, historic state. While exploring the site, hikers will also have the opportunity to observe numerous birds and other wildlife.
The event is free, and would-be participants are encouraged to bring water, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat and hiking shoes. Reservations are encouraged, but not required.
