RELEASE DATE: August 26, 2012

TAVARES – After carefully assessing the current track of Tropical Storm Isaac, Lake County officials have determined that all County offices will be open on Monday, Aug. 27 with normal business hours. Garbage collection service will also be provided in accordance with the regular pick-up schedule.

Officials encourage residents to monitor their local news outlets for the latest reports and updates. Citizens traveling on the roadways are urged to be vigilant and to use extreme caution.

It is also recommended that residents prepare a family disaster plan, a disaster supply kit and have a NOAA Weather Radio.
