SORRENTO — Due to a scheduling conflict in the community, the Lake County Department of Public Works, Parks & Trails Division, is cancelling a public meeting scheduled for Nov. 13, at the Sorrento Christian Center, located at 32441 N. County Road 437, to discuss proposed plans for East Lake Community Park in the Sorrento community.

The meeting will be rescheduled for a future date.

The 49-acre site is located off County Road 437, between Olmac and Wallick roads. The Parks & Trails Division is set to unveil proposed plans for the property that include an elementary school, public library, several ball fields, tennis, racquetball, volleyball and basketball courts, running track, playgrounds, skate park and pavilions.
