TAVARES — Get in the holiday spirit with a visit to the Lake County Historical Museum’s annual Festival of Trees, presented in Gallery IV of the museum.
“I’m proud to present the Festival of Tree after a two-year hiatus due to downtown construction,” said Dr. Diane Kamp, Director of Lake County Museums. “The decorated trees this year are simply beautiful and all the participants received an award.”
Participating in this year’s festival are Quilters Guild of Lake County, Lake Eustis Museum of Art, Umatilla Garden Club, Palm Garden of Tavares and Chin Stitchers Chapter of the Embroidery Guild Association. Visitors are encouraged to see the free holiday tree display Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays. The display will be available until Tuesday, Dec. 30.
