All campuses of Lake-Sumter Community College, Lake Technical Center are closed Monday

TAVARES — Lake-Sumter Community College is closing all three campuses — Leesburg, Clermont and Sumterville — for classes on Monday, Oct. 24.

According to college officials, all extracurricular activities at Lake-Sumter Community College are also postponed for Monday, including the Sports Leadership Series scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Leesburg campus.

In addition, Lake Technical Center is canceling day and evening classes on Monday at both its Eustis campus and Tavares public-safety campus.
