Lake County schedules media briefing for Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

TAVARES - The Lake County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will host a media briefing at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, at the Lake County Administration Building, 315 W. Main St., Tavares.

EOC officials will report on preparations Lake County is making for Hurricane Wilma, including raising the EOC staffing level from Level III monitoring to Level II partial activation. The briefing will be held in the media briefing room, located on the second floor of the administration building.
