Trash pick-up in Lake County cancelled for Monday

TAVARES — Trash pick-up for unincorporated Lake County is cancelled for Monday, Oct. 24.

For those customers that were missed Monday, the next trash pick-up will be on the next scheduled pick-up day. Trash pick-up will resume as normally scheduled on Tuesday, Oct. 25. The make-up date for recyclables will be next Monday, Oct. 31, for those affected on Oct. 24.

As reported during a County-City conference call at the Lake County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), trash pick-up for all 14 municipalities in Lake County, except for the cities of Clermont, Leesburg, Mascotte and Tavares, is also cancelled for Monday.
