Lake County is required by the U.S. Department Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to prepare an Analysis of Impediments (AI). The AI is a plan to Affirmatively Further Fair Housing and includes an analysis of fair housing issues in the region.
The Federal Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, and disability. Your input is needed to identify fair housing issues in Lake County and immediate surrounding areas. Please answer a few questions about the issues and whether you may have experienced housing discrimination. This survey is being conducted for information purposes only. Your responses will be completely anonymous.
