The Information Technology Department exists to provide the County with cost-efficient technology solutions.
The divisions within the Information Technology Department include:
IT Business Office
The Division handles budgeting, bill paying, staffing, training, planning, contract management,
asset management, records management and other day-to-day operations within the Department.
Service Desk
The Division is responsible for maintaining County servers along with providing desktop support to more than 750 desktops and
laptops throughout the County. Helping maintain electronic communication amongst employees and citizens is one of their primary roles.
Enterprise Support
Enterprise Support enables efficiencies and automation of business processes through new technology and application development.
The division is also responsible for the administration of the County's Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
They create and maintain the spatial information to aid in data analysis through mapping to support various County functions such as planning,
public safety and infrastructure. Enterprise Support also maintains installed business applications and databases throughout the County.
Technical Services
This Division maintains the County's data and telephone networks.
